Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait for the new season to begin with it coming up next weekend.
The men from Elland Road have had a productive summer behind the scenes and in the transfer market and now the fans will be hoping that that converts into results on the pitch.
For sure, Thomas Christiansen is the man tasked with trying to extract the optimum performance from his players whilst the squad themselves need to deal with the expectation placed on them.
The excitement amongst players and fans is pretty palpable at the moment, then, and that has certainly been reflected by Eunan O’Kane’s latest tweet.
He has said that he can’t wait to get back to Elland Road today with a friendly against Oxford United on the agenda.
