It was a bittersweet weekend for our Spurs fans here in the Transfer Tavern as their FA Cup progression came at a seemingly costly price.
The Lilywhites have been going well of late and could go on to win the famous old trophy but things in the league have now been put under threat with a seemingly serious injury to Harry Kane.
In the early stages of Spurs’ 6-0 win over Millwall yesterday he rolled his ankle under a challenge and could not continue – leaving many to wonder just where Spurs will replace his goals from.
Indeed, Kane is undoubtedly the main threat that the Lilywhites carry at the moment and they’ll be keen that he gets back as quick as possible to help maintain their Champions League challenge.
