There’s been so much to shout about for the Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern this summer as Ronald Koeman splashes the cash to build a new team at Goodison Park.
It’s an exciting new dawn for the Toffees in the Tavern as they look to move on from Romelu Lukaku, who made his competitive debut for Manchester United following his £75m last night.
Indeed, while the Belgian notched more than a few goals for the Evertonians, his exit didn’t cause too many tears on Merseyside, with many of our punters are believing the 23-year-old often flatters to deceive.
So, despite scoring, it seems Toffees supporters aren’t overly surprised about Lukaku’s relatively stuttering outing against Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup for his new side.
