Rangers fans here in the Tavern are delighted with how their summer has panned out so far, with Steven Gerrard already making moves on the transfer front. Indeed, the Bluenoses will be looking to add even more players to their squad, with aims of securing the Scottish Premiership title.
Steven Gerrard has already started to work wonders on the transfer front having brought a number of players to the club. But, with plenty of improvements still required and Celtic looking to strengthen, the Liverpool legend will need to land a deal that could automatically put them back into title contention next season. The month of June will be key to how next season pans out for the Bluenoses, with the Europa League qualification stages just around the corner. Therefore, many of our local residents have been crying out for a big-name player to be brought to Ibrox after missing out in Europe in the campaign just gone. So without further ado, landing this deal would make Rangers’ June the best in years…
Joel Campbell
Joel Campbell was named in Costa Rica’s 23-man squad for the World Cup, so the Bluenoses may want to keep an eye on him over the course of the competition. The 25-year-old could make an excellent addition to Gerrard’s side, with an added attacking spark being a very pleasant sight for many of our local residents. Indeed, the Arsenal man would be a bargain considering his status in North London and could be looking to make a decision on his future after the World Cup. Operating in the final third, the South American has scored a number of goals across Europe and could increase Rangers’ scoring threat.
