Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern have a feeling that things are going to be rather tense over the coming weeks as the transfer market approaches the last few days.

Indeed, we’re under two weeks to go before the window slams shut until January and there is still plenty to be resolved on the red side of Merseyside.

Indeed, whilst the future of Philippe Coutinho remains up in the air as to whether he’ll move to Barcelona or not, there is also work to be done in terms of players coming in.

Certainly, our local Reds punters here by the bar want to see Virgil van Dijk but whilst we wait to see exactly what happens Steven Gerrard has been speaking about managing the U18’s.
