Our Sheffield Wednesday fans here in the Transfer Tavern have begun to look forward to next season after another play-off disappointment.
For sure, they were not happy as the Owls fell short of Premier League promotion but they are confident 2017/18 will yield a return to the top flight and so it is time to get behind their team once again.
The men from Hillsborough, then, must be eager to hit the ground running and they’ll soon know who they are going to try that against with the new fixtures not too long away.
