After a thoroughly dismal loss to Arsenal on the weekend, the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have been served up some rather bizarre transfer news.

Spanish outlet Don Balon claim the Blues are keen on Angel di Maria, who is reported to have grown unhappy at Paris Saint-Germain.

The last few seasons have been a fall from grace for the 28-year-old, who has seen a huge drop in his performances since dazzling with Real Madrid.

Though he remains one of the elite names in the European game, his last spell on these shores proved a nightmare while with Manchester United.
