Liverpool: Fans react to transfer report on Houssem Aouar

Liverpool-linked Houssem Aouar is one of the most promising and exciting young talents in football.

The 21-year-old currently plays for Lyon in Ligue 1 and he is one of the mainstays in their midfield, having scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 37 matches in all competitions. Ever since he burst onto the scene as an 18-year-old in 2017, he has regularly provided attacking threat from the middle of the park, amassing 24 goals and 24 assists in 133 matches overall.

However, it was always unlikely that Les Gones were going to be able to keep hold of him and now, according to L’Equipe (via Get French Football News), he will leave the French club in the summer. They say that he will depart for a fee of around €50m (£43.9m).
