Our regulars here in the Football Transfer Tavern have placed down their pints and are reminding us eagerly of a rumour we discussed a while back concerning Angel Di Maria as we peruse a Daily Mirror article that is perched on the end of the bar.
We had previously discussed how the winger had decided that unless Jose Mourinho remained at the club in the summer he would have to reconsider his future with the Spanish giants and now it has been claimed that the club would not exactly keep hold of the player with gusto.
In a sensational snub to the winger, it has been claimed that Florentino Perez is offering him around Europe to clubs who would be willing to offer both the asking price and the wages for the 25-year-old. Mega wealthy Paris Saint Germain are of course contenders, and should Mourinho end up there in the summer they will move firmly to the front of the queue to land the player.
However a move to Manchester United has also been mooted with Sir Alex Ferguson known to admire the Argentine and Di Maria keen to try a move to another league and a club like Manchester United. The fact that Di Maria’s agent is Jorge Mendes who already has strong links at Old Trafford obviously wouldn’t hinder this deal either.

Dimaria will be a good addition to Old trafford and also will be a big loss for Madrid. Since Giggs is almost done with the club now, I think Angel will be a better replacement for him. I love Dimaria, I love United.
