Arsenal boss angry to lose exciting striker to Tottenham

KaneArsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern gathering ahead of tomorrow’s North London derby are discussing losing an exciting striker to their fierce rivals.

Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane left Arsenal’s academy at a young age and has gone on to become a hero for club and country.

Now 22, and preparing for his first clash with the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium, Kane is regarded as one of Britain’s finest young prospects and Arsene Wenger is quoted by The Independent as stating he was angry that the club let Kane leave as a youngster.

“I read it in the papers, sometimes you get good information there. So I found it quite funny, and you are always a bit angry as well, because I asked why did he go? But at nine years of age, boys move here and there. Some people move at youth level, because their parents find a different job, and they move somewhere else.”

Arsenal fans in the bar are desperate for a top-class striker to push them towards the Premier League title and believe that Kane could have done a decent job, if he had remained this side of the North London divide.

Gooners, would Harry Kane be an upgrade on Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott? Let us know in the comments below!
