A player rumoured to be leaving Arsenal this summer is defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos as manager Mikel Arteta does not favour him at the club, and it seems like the North London side have finally agreed a deal to let the player depart.
According to Tutto Napoli, via Daily Cannon, the Gunners have agreed a deal with Serie A side Napoli, which could see the defender play in Italy next season.

The transfer is around €4.5m (£4.03 million) and reportedly the player will receive €2.5m-a-year in wages on a three-year contract.
Football.London reported a while back that Arteta has told Sokratis that he is not in his plans going forward, and the Greece international has only made one appearance since 18 January due to a combination of injury and being unfancied by Arteta, who has favoured other options in the squad.
With Arsenal reportedly close to signing Gabriel Magalhaes, it pushes the Greek further down the pecking order and with him also only having one year left on his contract, now is the best time for the Gunners to sell Sokratis.
It seems like a sensible decision to allow him to leave as well as Arteta has stressed he is worried about the current financial struggles and therefore getting some money would help the club further down the line.
Supporters will appreciate the service that Sokratis put in at the club, but if feels like now is the perfect time for him to leave and it benefits all parties.
