Liverpool fans look ready to throw up here in the Football Transfer Tavern as Metro seem to think Arsenal are readying a bid for Raheem Sterling.
The winger is of course in a massive contract dispute with Liverpool and after reportedly turning down £180,000 per week, we think he simply wants to leave the Reds – although why he would go to Arsenal in a very sideways and back move is beyond us.
That has not deterred Arsene Wenger, who seems to think that £50 million could be enough to land the England international – with whispers that Brendan Rodgers and his board have tired of the attitude Sterling is giving them and some serious consideration actually being given to selling the player.
