Unai Emery has improved Arsenal across the board, but few players have enjoyed as much growth as Alex Iwobi. Iwobi has, generally speaking, been a bit of a divisive player over the years, with the Nigerian lacking consistency.
He’s always had tremendous quality, but under Emery he’s been able to harness it and make more use of it – and that’s led to great things for the Gunners.
Iwobi is now one of their most important players, with his locker full of tricks and technique always available to offer Unai Emery something different
He’s become particularly well known as of late for his nutmegging ability. He’s regularly able to knock the ball between a players legs and innovatively move past them, and Arsenal have seen fit to celebrate that on Twitter with a special video, owing to the 3 years since he made his debut.
In response, many Arsenal fans have been paying tribute to the man that has become known as the ‘Nutmeg Prince’ and ‘Nutmeg King’.
It’s years since @AlexIwobi‘s @PremierLeague debut…
