Arsenal fans have been begging manager Unai Emery to start youngster Joe Willock in tonight’s game against Manchester United.
Arsenal travel up to the north-west having not won there since September 2006, when Emmanuel Adebayor scored the winner in a 1-0 win (via BBC).
The £9m-rated youngster has been benched in recent weeks in the Premier League, starting none of the last three top-flight games after starting the first three of the season (via Transfermarkt).
The England youth international did start the thumping of Nottingham Forest as he scored the third goal in a 5-0 win.
The goal against the City Ground side was Willock’s first of the season and fifth of his Arsenal first-team career so far.
Fans are eager to see the 20-year-old return to the starting lineup as they took to Twitter to ask Emery to start the youngster.
