Loads of Arsenal fans are buzzing after a tweet from AFTV Media regarding Thomas Partey was posted on their Twitter page with a question to Gunners supporters as to whether they reckon that the north London club will get him.
This follows recent reports that the father of Atletico Madrid’s central midfield player told TRU 92.5 FM that he would be happy if the 26-year old joined AFC in the summer transfer window.
As per the outlet, the Ghanaian international’s father claims that the Spanish giants are in discussions with his son, and also added that Arsenal are not a small club and it will all depend on how the Madrid club release him.
Partey may prove to be a shrewd signing for the Gunners based off his stats in La Liga this season. He wins 6.6 duels per game, in addition to averaging 2.1 tackles, 1.4 interceptions and 1.2 clearances per match, according to Sofascore.
