Loads of Arsenal fans have been reacting to their win against West Ham, and they’re absolutely full of praise for Bernd Leno.
You’d be hard pushed to find a more wasteful performance than the one Michail Antonio produced at the Emirates on Saturday, as the Hammers star spurned three ‘big chances’ (Sofascore) and wasted several good positions for the visitors.
However, West Ham’s profligacy in the final third wasn’t all down to their own misdoings, as Leno was once again phenomenal for the Gunners. The Germany international is surely in with a chance of being the club’s player of the season, racking up the second-most saves of any player in the Premier League, behind Newcastle’s Martin Dubravka (fbref.com).
