Daniel Ballard. Remember the name. Arsenal’s Under-23 defender has certainly caught the eye with his some of his performances this season.
The robust, yet elegant defender has been displaying that vigour in game situations as a compilation of his clearances off the line were tweeted out by the North London giants yesterday.
His desire to get to the ball before players is there for all to see, and the 19-year-old, who has been capped four times by Northern Ireland at Under-21 level, has definitely helped his team out on more than one occasion with his knack of snuffing out danger – he looks to have an extremely bright future in the game.
