Arsenal fans have been hitting out at Tottenham Hotspur man Heung-Min Son after the South Korean’s red card in the game against Chelsea.
With the score at 2-0 to the Blues, the winger kicked out at central defender Antonio Rudiger and was subsequently sent off.
Comparisons were made with Granit Xhaka with supporters hitting out at the attacker as one fan alluded to the fact Son has more red cards for Spurs than the Swiss midfielder does for Arsenal.
Son has more red cards for Spurs than Xhaka for Arsenal. Narratives. https://t.co/jSKkxLycQi

It is Son’s third red card of the calendar year and his second red card of this current Premier League campaign. (via Transfermarkt).
His previous offence came in the 1-1 draw away to Everton earlier this year after he hacked down Andre Gomes in a horrible challenge that left the Portuguese man out for between six months to a year (via Goal).
Fans weren’t too happy with the South Korean as they took to Twitter to hit out at him for his violent conduct.
Here is a selection of tweets from the north London faithful:
All been for violent conduct too but he’s not that type of player

Apparently Son has more red cards for spurs than Xhaka does for Arsenal 🤨

Son has three red cards in his last 17 PL games by the way. The media will continue to pretend he’s a saint though while admonishing Xhaka who hasn’t been sent off in any of his last 120 odd matches. Last red came in January 2017.

Son has more red cards than Xhaka or Cantona. Let’s stop pretending he’s such a harmless, perfect bloke please? https://t.co/wiV1ZTONLk

Son with his second red card this season. I know he has a charming personality and seems a really chill guy, but you have to admit; the guy has a temper and referees must take note.
If it was Xhaka, he’d be crucified.

Xhaka isn’t a dirty player, he’s a clumsy player. Son is just trifling and the nice guy narrative has gone to his head IMO.
