Arsenal fans were in bits after a former Premier League player aimed a dig at rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
In an interview with Sky in Italy (via Sky Sports), Christian Eriksen claimed that he has a better chance of winning trophies with Internazionale than he did with the Lilywhites. The Dane completed his move from north London to the San Siro in the January transfer window for a fee believed to be £16.9m.
It wouldn’t be the first time a player has left the boys down the road in order to secure silverware. Back in 2001, Sol Campbell famously swapped the white of Spurs for the red of Arsenal in a highly controversial, yet, successful move as he won two Premier League titles and three FA Cups (via Transfermarkt).
