Many Arsenal fans have been interested in a tweet from LTArsenal (via TheAFCBell) which talked about Thomas Partey’s situation at Atletico Madrid.
In the post, points were raised about the supposedly unsatisfactory contract offered by the Spanish giants to their midfield player, Partey’s preference to move to the Premier League and desire to play for the north London club, which Atleti are apparently aware of, the Gunners’ real interest and AFC exploring innovative ways to avoid paying the release clause.

Whether the 26-year old makes the move to the Emirates is all speculation at this point, but his situation has certainly captured the interest of many supporters.
Based off his stats in La Liga this season, Partey would arguably be a welcome addition to the team. The Ghanaian international wins 6.6 duels per match, and also averages 2.1 tackles, 1.4 interceptions and 1.2 clearances, as per Sofascore.
