Some Arsenal fans have welcomed transfer news coming from Le 10 Sport about the possibility of Philippe Coutinho signing for the north London outfit in the upcoming summer transfer window.
As per the report, the former Liverpool ace is of great interest to somePremier League clubs and apparently the Gunners dream of signing him. However, the Barcelona playmaker, who is on loan at Bayern Munich this season, has also been courted by Chelsea, as one Gooner claimed on Twitter that ‘United and Chelsea fans are shaking’ after hearing the news.
It would perhaps be a controversial move to Manchester United given their bitter rivalry with Liverpool, but given Coutinho’s pedigree in the Premier League, Arsenal will likely have to fight hard to claim his signature. Indeed, the 27-year old scored 41 goals and provided 37 assists in 152 appearances in England’s highest division, playing in a number of attacking positions, according to Transfermarkt.

I would definitely take him if it’s a loan, let’s not forget he used to be one of the best in EPL before his move plus he is in his prime (28). So whether he rediscover that form remains to be seen but is an opportunity for us to spend on other priorities.
