Arsenal fans have been left excited after journalist Gilles Favard broke some news concerning William Saliba.
According to the French journalist, the north London outfit are attempting to cut his loan spell with Saint-Etienne short.
Saliba has enjoyed a stop-start season with the Ligue 1 club, featuring in just seven games the league and Europa League as his campaign’s been plagued by injuries.
He has suffered a hamstring and foot injury this season with the latter having kept him out since his side’s 1-0 win over AS Monaco (via The Express).
His performances have been incredibly solid for the Greens this year with the French side having kept four clean sheets in the five league games he’s played (via Transfermarkt).
Fans were over the moon following the emergence of the news that the club is looking to cut short the centre-back’s loan spell as they took to Twitter to react.
