Arsenal: Fans not happy as shocking Alexandre Lacazette statistic is revealed

Loads of Arsenal fans have been reacting to a goal statistic involving striker Alexandre Lacazette which makes pretty grim reading for the Frenchman.

According to WhoScored, Lacazette has not scored an away goal against a current Premier League team in over 600 days. It is a revelation that has unsurprisingly left several supporters unimpressed, with one individual describing the 28-year-old’s abysmal record as “pathetic”.

You would have to say, though, that their frustrations do not just come from his away form. His displays in general of late have simply not been good enough. Lacazette has failed to score in any of his last eight games in all competitions despite not being afraid to go for goal.

This season, he is averaging 2.1 shots per game in the Premier League. That is the second most in the squad and only 0.4 behind the leading player in that category, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

For his quality this isn’t a great stat. He may run a lot and hold the ball up well but it’s useless if he doesn’t win us games. He is clinical and i like him but Aubu is so much more clinical when he’s up top. He’s been like it even from out wide. Laca just needs a goal or 2
