Arsenal have started the Premier League season in fine form, after suffering two defeats to Manchester City and Chelsea in their first two games they’ve gone on to win to win their last nine games in all competitions, with Alexandre Lacazette being the standout man in that time.

Alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the top of the pitch and aided by having a year to bed in to the cub, Lacazette is really showing the form that he did at Lyon and is starting to look like the big-money striker that the Gunners know he can be. His goal return so far this season of five in ten is a great start and when you factor in his three assists as well you can see how big of a player the 27-year-old has been this season.
Last season saw the Frenchman looking like a shadow of the man that bagged himself 129 goals for his former club, Lyon. Now, though, under Unai Emery and playing alongside a positive team that looks to create chances and play good football, Lacazette is thriving in English football and he’s been recognised by the fans as they’ve all been quick to label him their standout player of the season so far.

I know Toreirra has been a sensation and a breath of fresh air to the club..but Lacazette has been truly and by far the standout player..he seems very confident now and also very clinical in front of goal.

The Gunners are in agreement that Lacazette has been their standout star of the season and will be keen for him to continue that form against Leicester on Monday night.
