If you were to ask an Arsenal fan who their best every goalscorer is, the likely responses will be Thierry Henry or Ian Wright. However, a stat has emerged on Twitter about those two legendary Arsenal men and has compared them to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, as the Gabonese striker brought up his 20th goal for the club in yesterday’s win over Bournemouth.

Whilst it took Arsenal legends Henry and Wright 40 games to bring up the 20-goal milestone, Auba has bettered them both comfortably, achieving the feat in nine games fewer. No one is expecting the 29-year-old Aubameyang to go on and match the goalscoring records that Henry and Wright managed at the club, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t loving having him around as one of the most clinical strikers in world football.
The ex-Borussia Dortmund was Arsene Wenger’s parting gift to the club he served so loyally. The Frenchman made Auba his final signing and now, with the frontman approaching the anniversary of his move to the club the fans have been honing in on just how effective the 29-year-old has been. Alongside Alexandre Lacazette the pair have struck up quite a connection both on and off the pitch and with a combined 16 goals between them already this season, it looks like the best is yet to come from the deadly duo.

The Gunners will be desperate to see Auba continue scoring goals at his current rate and will hope that him being used from the bench and on the left doesn’t impact his form in front of goal.
