Arsenal fans have been given plenty of hope of bringing in some signings this month despite the fact they have no transfer funds for any incomings to be permanent. That, though, isn’t too much of a barrier as the Gunners are able to loan with options or obligations to buy and the fans are dying to bring in Ivan Perisic on-loan.

One Arsenal fan account, LTArsenal, tweeted the pros and cons of the deal and asked the supporters what they thought of the Perisic deal. The majority of the responses were of desperate Gunners who were keen to add the Croatian’s end product and wing play to their squad, especially considering the only wingers that they currently have are Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
If they could bring in the experienced World Cup finalist it would be one of those deals that makes a lot of sense short-term but could be a hindrance for Unai Emery over the course of a few seasons. The winger is currently 29-years-old, however, he’ll be celebrating his 30th birthday in just four days time, making him one of those who could quickly start declining as he loses his legs into his thirties.

The Gunners would love to sign Perisic despite his age and will hope Emery can work on bringing in the Croatian on-loan.
