Alexandre Lacazette was at it again earlier today did what he does best, score goals. The Frenchman bagged himself a brace with goals either side of half-time and either side of Andre Schurrle’s equaliser as The Gunners overcame The Whites 5-1 at Craven Cottage.

Lacazette’s double in the capital today meant he’s taken his personal tally for the season up to five goals and he looks certain to go on and smash his record of 17 strikes that he set in his first season in the Premier League with The Gunners last season. It looks to have helped no end that he’s got Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with from the start of the season as the pair have cooked up quite the partnership both on and off the pitch.
Today, though, the Frenchman went into the game starting whilst his partner in crime was left on the bench for the tie. That didn’t stop Auba coming off the bench to bag a brace of his own, but the fans have been on Twitter and waxing lyrical over one man and that is Lacazette. The fans will be desperate to see Lacazette keep up his hot streak when club football returns after the international break and will be keen to see their side’s winning run continue.

The Gunners are besotted with Lacazette at the moment, and if things continue as they are then that won’t change anytime soon.
