Arsenal fans on Twitter urge club to sign Maguire after England heroics

Arsenal fans everywhere have been taking to social media to call for Unai Emery to pull out his wallet and slap an offer down for Harry Maguire this summer. The club has got issues at centre-back and after seeing what the Leicester man can do for England the Arsenal fans are convinced that he’s what they need.

Maguire, who’s affectionately referred to as ‘Slabhead’ by his England and Leicester teammates, has taken Russia by storm this summer. He’s been part of the first England squad in 28 years that has had the nation believing and after an incredibly successful tournament, the big clubs will now be lining up to sign some of England’s unlikely heroes. Harry Maguire is one of those and Arsenal fans will be hoping their club can act fast.

Tottenham Hotspur are supposedly interested in the Leicester man and if The Gunners lose out on the 25-year-old to their North London rivals then there will be chaos among the fans at The Emirates. Emery has already stretched his purse strings to sign Sokratis Papastathopoulos from Borussia Dortmund but now the fans will be hoping they can bring in one more central defender in Maguire as they aim to make a return to the Champions League next season with a top-four finish.
