Arsenal have been getting on just fine over the last few weeks. Victory against Tottenham and a point away at Old Trafford have been pleasing results for the fans, and it’s all been happening without Mesut Ozil, who last started a game on November 11th against Wolves. Since then, the German has been left out of four straight by Unai Emery with a supposed back problem.
Yesss! Three points and the run continues Good job Gunners #YaGunnersYa #M1Ö #ARSHUD @Arsenal

Not only did Saturday’s win over Huddersfield make it four consecutive matches for the Gunners without Ozil in the squad, but it also took the tally of times it’s happened in the Premier League this season to six. That’s an alarming amount of games to miss for a player who’s supposedly one of the best creative players in the world and a lot of Arsenal fans have been questioning whether or not the German has anything wrong with him whatsoever.
It looks more than anything like Unai Emery is leaving out the ex-Real Madrid man purposely, and who can blame him with the way his side is playing. A lot of the time, Ozil will ghost in and out of games and can go through a whole 90-minute game without doing anything of note, something that’s happened way too many times at The Emirates. However, after battling it out against the Terriers on Saturday, a lot of Arsenal fans want the German back in the side to give them that little bit of flair, even if his mentality is being called into question.

The Gunners want to see Ozil comeback into the side with a bit of fight sooner rather than later and will hope he can make the difference over the busy Christmas period.
