Arsenal fans on Twitter would love to swoop for Callum Hudson-Odoi

Arsenal always seem to be linked with Europe’s next best wonderkid, although they never seem to be able to get the signing over the line. The fans though will be hoping that isn’t the case here as The Sun has linked them with a move for Chelsea’s impressive young midfielder, Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Hudson-Odoi is one of those young players that just comes in and takes everything by storm. Arsenal have a few of those sorts of players of their own in fairness, with Eddie Nketiah and Emile Smith-Rowe impressing for The Gunners at The Emirates whilst the on-loan Reiss Nelson continues to prove himself as one of the brightest young players in Europe today, although signing the Chelsea man would still be great business.

A lot of The Gunners would be keen to see exactly what the youngster could do if he was playing under a coach like Unai Emery. Whilst Maurizio Sarri started life brightly at Stamford Bridge, after the clubbing vy Spurs on the weekend the cracks have started to show and as is always the case, the wheels on the Chelsea bus can fall off very quickly if they’re not careful. That’s where Arsenal will be looking to strike, and if things do fall apart for The Blues, they’ll be desperate to swoop in and sign Hudson-Odoi amid the chaos.
