When you’re blessed to have two genuinely talented front-men at your club who can both do the job up front, selection issues are always going to be a problem, and that’s what’s happening at Arsenal. Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are the forwards in question and as Unai Emery has preferred Laca as of late, it looks like the fans agree with their gaffer’s choice.
Here’s a hard question of the day. Only one of these 2 starts. The other sits on the bench. Which player would you start as our centre forward -Lacazette or Aubameyang? Interested to know your reasoning too!

The Gunners have been left with Laca up front and Auba out wide or on the bench. There are plenty of teams in Europe that would do anything to have a striker as clinical in front of goal as Aubameyang, but at The Emirates, the Gabonese front-man has struggled to nail down the lone-striker position as Lacazette has been in good form this season. That’s left little in the way of time up front for Auba, even if he is still banging goals.
When the 29-year-old striker was signed by Arsene Wenger back in January, there were a lot of fans who were buzzing with their club’s business. Unfortunately, the fact that the club can’t accommodate both of the front-men in their favoured role is frustrating and could lead to long-term issues with the pair as one of them will always be shoehorned into the team in a position that they don’t necessarily want to be.

Lacazette starts, better at holding up play and linking up with ozil and co, also aubameyang coming off the bench has been very effective this season

Lacazette. More complete player and striker.

Start Lacazette in most games especially the big games,Aubameyang will be effective off the bench

Lacazette as he is more effective. But Auba is so dangerous as a sub in the second half when the oppositon are tired. He scored 4 goals in 2 sub appearances

The Gunners all seem to be in agreement that Laca wins in the Laca or Auba debate, although they still love seeing the Gabonese striker coming off the bench.
