Arsenal: Fans rave over Joe Willock after his goal against Charlton Athletic

Some Arsenal fans have been drooling over a goal scored by Joe Willock with his left foot from the outside of the box into the top corner against Lee Bowyer’s Charlton Athletic in a 6-0 friendly win over the weekend.

As per the Gunners’ official website, Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and an Eddie Nketiah hat-trick also accompanied Willock’s strike as Arsenal ran out rather comfortable winners in the end against the EFL Championship side.

One Gooner said that he can see a ‘Ramsey in him’, as the former Arsenal player had a habit of scoring goals from the centre of midfield where Willock plays. The Welsh international netted 64 times in 369 appearances in all competitions for the Emirates Stadium outfit, according to Transfermarkt.

Another claimed that Mikel Arteta should ‘play him over Ozil’, who has scored just once and made a mere three assists in 23 games in all competitions so far in the 2019/20 season (via the website).
