Ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Bournemouth on Sunday to face the Cherries, their medical team has provided an update on some of the injured names.
Both Stephan Lichtsteiner and Nacho Monreal have had issues with their right hamstring, with the former being assessed ahead of the game and the latter expected to return to full training in two weeks.
French defender Laurent Koscielny, who hasn’t featured for the North London giants since May, is being integrated into full training following his achilles injury, and Dinos Mavropanos is expected to return to full training in November. However, England international Danny Welbeck is obviously still sidelined and recovering after his ankle surgery.

A couple of fans are missing their left-back Monreal, especially given Sead Kolasinac hasn’t fared particularly well as deputy…

Yet one fan believes Monreal’s absence means it is time to shine for Kolasinac…
Nacho essentially out for 3 weeks with this setback. Kolasinac has to prove his worth. People have doubted him. Time to step up. Same for AMN as well. #afc #arsenal
