Many Arsenal fans are buzzing after seeing defender William Saliba put in a top performance for Saint-Etienne.
The centre back starred in a huge 1-0 win over their arch-rivals Lyon, with Les Verts scoring a 90th-minute winner through Robert Beric.
Arsenal signed the 18-year-old on a five-year contract but was instantly loaned back to Saint-Etienne for the next Ligue 1 campaign.
The Gunners paid £27m for the French defender, despite interest from North London rivals Tottenham, according to the BBC.
This was the defender’s first start of the league season for Saint-Etienne, with the youngster being out injured earlier in the season through a hamstring injury. New manager Claude Puel gave him his first start of the Ligue 1 campaign and he was duly rewarded with three points and a clean sheet.
