The former Southampton man massively under hit his pass to Gabriel as Dean Smith’s team pounced on his defensive error which eventually led to Ollie Watkins putting in a deflected effort past Mat Ryan on his Gunners debut very early on in the game.

The goal immediately put Mikel Arteta’s side under pressure as they look to get all three points to rectify their 2-1 away loss at Wolves on Tuesday evening.
Nonetheless, it has certainly left the North London club with an uphill task ahead in the second half as both teams look to climb up the top-flight table.
