Mohamed Elneny doesn’t seem needed at Arsenal. The 27-year-old featured 17 times last season but played 90 minutes just six times, and on Sunday, he failed to make the matchday squad against Newcastle.

It’s now come out that Galatasaray want the midfield man on a loan deal. That is according to Turkish outlet Ajansspor, although with a loan deal the club will be in the exact same place this time next year should the Super Lig giants opt against signing the 27-year-old on a permanent deal next summer.
It doesn’t make a positive viewing for Elneny at Arsenal this season. His limited game time last season was one thing, but now Unai Emery has also added Dani Ceballos to his squad and seems to be more prepared to put his faith in the youngsters, as Joe Willock started against Newcastle in midfield, giving even less room for Elneny.

These Arsenal fans clearly don’t want to see Elneny loaned out this summer and will be a lot happier if he is sold permanently it appears.
