Alex Iwobi’s upward trajectory in north London has seen the 20-year-old impose himself on first-team proceedings under Arsene Wenger of late.

Reports from Goal today claim the 20-year-old is in line for a new deal at the Emirates Stadium after his breakthrough few months under Le Prof.

On a day when Leicester City ace Riyad Mahrez revealed he had some contact from the Gunners over the summer transfer window, the fans have taken to Twitter to praise the Nigerian international.
