Arsenal fans are unleashing fury after The Atheltic’s David Ornstein released some news regarding Unai Emery and his position as manager of the club.
According to Ornstein, the hierarchy is 100% behind the Spanish manager, as they’ve also denied considering a change or talking to candidates.
Yesterday’s loss to Leicester City confirmed that Arsenal have made their worst start to an English top-flight season since the 1982/1983 campaign, where got 15 points after 12 games (via BBC).
The loss also continues the club’s torrid run of form with Emery’s side having won none of their last five games across all competitions (via WhoScored).
Despite the loss to the Foxes, Emery came out following the game saying he believed his team ‘carried out the game plan’.
Fans seemed to be furious with the reports over Emery’s future as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the north London faithful:
You’ve ruined my weeekend, Ornstein.
