Though the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern watched Claudio Ranieri tell reporters earlier today that title hero Riyad Mahrez was staying at Leicester City, reports from France have them dancing on the tables.
Their reported interest in the Algerian playmaker has been one of the sewing motifs amid the silliest of silly seasons, though growing ever bitter rivals Chelsea have also been been touted as a potential landing spot.

The first was reported to be around £30m, snubbed by the Premier League champions, is said to have been followed up by one of £35m.
The Foxes have previously been reported to value the former Le Harve playmaker at a whopping £45m, though Favard has cryptically added to his initial claims.
