Arsenal return to Europa League action this evening when they welcome Standard Liege to the Emirates Stadium in Group F.

The Gunners opened their account with a convincing 3-0 victory away at Eintracht Frankfurt a fortnight ago and currently sit top of their qualifying group, so will likely feel confident of another victory this evening.
However, their opponents are expected to prove tough opposition, having beaten Portuguese outfit Vitoria SC 2-0 in their Europa League curtain-raiser last month.
The Belgians currently sit second in Group F as things stand, behind Arsenal on goal difference alone, so they would leapfrog the north Londoners with a victory this evening.
Mesut Ozil has been limited to just two appearances this term – one in the Premier League draw with Watford and one in the EFL Cup thrashing of Nottingham Forest – and was dropped from Unai Emery’s squad altogether for the club’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Monday night.
The German has seemingly fallen out of favour at the Emirates, but could well feature this evening against Standard Liege, much to the delight of these Arsenal fans, who have been calling for his return…
