Arsenal fans in the Football Transfer Tavern receive concerning news from talkSPORT who reveal that Lukas Podolski is in advanced talks with Inter Milan over a January loan switch.
The German international is looking to gain more first team football, especially as he wants to keep his international career alive.
Former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini who is now back in charge at Inter is believed to have been tracking the former FC Koln man in the build-up to January.
However, they are not the only Serie A side keen on the experienced forward with Juventus and Roma also showing a keen interest.
But despite the other interested clubs, it is rumoured via the Italian Corriere dello Sport source that Inter have already agreed a deal to sign the 29-year-old.
They have supposedly already agreed personal terms with Podolski and the deal will include the option for the Nerazzurri to make Podolski’s switch permanent next summer.
Punters in the tavern feel he has been unfairly left out of Arsene Wenger’s Gunners first team at times due to new arrivals and while he may not be as glamorous an option as his some of his team-mates, he has still been previously labelled the most lethal finisher at the club.
Arsenal fans. Do you think Podolski should be allowed to leave on loan next month or would you try and give him more game time? Let us know your thoughts below.
