Arsenal fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are shocked to hear via talkSPORT that Inter Milan are expected to pull out of a permanent deal for Lukas Podolski in the summer.
The German international is currently on loan to the Italian giants until the end of the season in search for more first team football after being left out on numerous occasions by Arsene Wenger earlier this term.
But it seems as though the grass isn’t much greener in Serie A for the 29-year-old as he has still been finding it tough to get regular game time.
He was left out of Roberto Mancini’s Europa League squad last month and has only made six appearances for the Nerazzurri since arriving on loan.
Before the winter move, it was expected that the German would sign permanently at the end of the season but the way things have gone, it is likely that Inter will now pull out of any permament deal.
