Aston Villa midfielder Anwar El Ghazi is ‘open’ to the idea of joining PSV Eindhoven in the summer transfer window.

The 27-year-old is not seen as a key part of Steven Gerrard’s plans at Villa Park, with playing time coming at a premium in recent times.
El Ghazi was limited to just four starts in the Premier League last season, while this time around, he is yet to make an appearance in any of the opening three matches.

That being said, it is claimed that the Villans won’t be ‘soft’ in negotiations, so a fee may well be required to prise the winger away.

It is pointless keeping hold of an unhappy player who isn’t a key part of Gerrard’s plans, so moving El Ghazi on this summer makes complete sense for all concerned.
