Baffling: Why on earth is Guardiola not using these 2 Man City players more?

Manchester City have had an average season at best this campaign, and that is down to the pure fact that we here at the Transfer Tavern feel that Guardiola was expecting a lot more from the players he had at the club, prior to his arrival.

However, it appears it’ll be a busy summer for us here at the Transfer Tavern reporting on Manchester City.

Not only that but we still aren’t sure if Guardiola even now knows what exactly what his strongest eleven is, which has been proven by the sheer number of players he’s used in his short time at the club thus far.

With that, although he has played a rather large number of players, what he hasn’t done really is perhaps given some players the chance they deserve to have by playing more regularly.

We all know how stubborn he can be and when he knows what he wants he ensures that it is done, just look at what happened to Joe Hart!

But either way, our landlord thinks he simply has to utilise these TWO players more often….

KELECHI IHEANACHO

The Nigerian international was a regular at times as he burst onto the scene under Pellegrini last term, but this season he’s found himself mostly on the bench under Guardiola.

He showed just how influential he can be when he featured last term and maybe Pep should take some advice on him from his predecessor.

Iheanacho is a class act and it’ll only take so much time on the bench before he seeks a move away, which would be costly for City.

MANUEL NOLITO

It’s a surprise really that this lad hasn’t had as much time on the field.

He was brought to the club by the gaffer and with high expectations after a great couple of seasons with Celta Vigo and a good campaign with Spain in the Euros, it just hasn’t worked.

Nolito is a superb player and really does need more time on the field, as he seems to make an impact everytime he steps on the field, so it simply baffles us as for why he isn’t get as much time in the starting eleven.
