Harry Redknapp has joined the race to sign David Beckham on loan from LA Galaxy. The proposed 2 month loan would see Golden Balls sign for the side his Grandfather supported and would finally bring him back to the Premiership after seemingly years of rumours.
Spurs have contacted Beckham’s Advisors about the possibility of him joining in a bid to gain more fitness for when the MLS season resumes in March. Tottenham aren’t alone in their desire to bring Becks back home to the Premier League.
Blackburn, Everton, West Ham, Sunderland and Newcastle have all stated their intentions to bring in the 115 cap midfielder on loan, as well as further interest from Italy and Spain.
Galaxy officials had said previously they wouldn’t consider another loan for Beckham after his last foray away from LA ended in a torn Achilles tendon in Milan which took 5 months to cure.
With Beckham thought to be coveting a move abroad though, it seems likely he will get his way and could soon be coming to a Premier League ground near you.

WHY???
He wouldn’t get in our reserves. I can only assume it’s for marketing reasons.
Spurs must be signing him for the over 35yrs. side. This fellow had his day 5 yrs.ago.If he is not good enough for United how is he going to make the Spurs side.Talking about United please, please do me a favour and give them a good hide’ing next month.I am sick and tired of all their supporters down here.
5 years ago? What did he have an extra yard of pace?? Makes no difference, it’s not his game…… He’s not lost his touch, his effort or ability to ping a 40-yard pass onto a players’ foot!! He’s good enough to play for any premier league team even if he is a squad player on loan.
Its so he can play in the London Masters. Levys going for total footie domination. I hope it does happen. Would do some of our younger players the world of good to train with him and also help boost the profile of the club. As long as he doesnt expect to play every week i cant see a downside
Waste of time, effort & money & who the hell would want to buy a THFC Beckham shirt anyway? So, even the side benefits are dubious. I cannot believe that Levy or even Redknapp are this stupid. As for teaching the younger players we have bale & Modric, Gallas & vdV to do that
What a rubbish article. The headline indicates hes a certainty to join..then the story says we’ve joined the race! I wont be visiting this site again.
The headline doesn’t indicate a certainty as who he’ll sign for. Grow a brain…
By definition it isn’t possible to be 1000% sure. The maximum is 100% – Per-Cent = out of each 100. Grow a brain is a good comeback though in the circumstances….
Since when have we become a training ground exercise for Mr Beckham?, the guys a has been firstly, secondly who drops out for him? thirdly why bring him in and let the likes of Bentley and Kanjaer go?, are we that desperate to flog a few shirts?, leave him be, and anyway Galaxy aren’t keen on letting him go out on loan again
Your headline has nothing to do with your story, sensationalism without substance often leaves an audience reluctant to return.
Is Harry on drugs? why the hell would we want to sign a geriatric has-been like Beckham???? Why don’t we give Jimmy Greaves a call…he might fancy a run out.
