Liverpool: Fans react to Wissam ben Yedder link

Liverpool have been linked with Timo Werner for an awfully long time, it now feels, but it remains to be seen whether he makes the move to Anfield.

The latest update comes from Sky Sports, who say that it is unlikely the Reds will make a move for the RB Leipzig forward. As such, they may need to look at other targets if they want to sign another striker.

That man could very well be Wissam ben Yedder, as per L’Equipe. They report that the Merseyside outfit, along with Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham, as well as Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Valencia in La Liga, would like to sign him. With 18 goals in Ligue 1 with Monaco before the French season was cancelled, he was the division’s joint-top scorer – the £40m valuation Les Monegasques have of him could well be a bargain.
