The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are eager for Victor Moses to return to action. The Nigerian has been missing for a few weeks now after suffering an injury, leaving the likes of Davide Zappacosta and Cesar Azpilicueta to deputise for the winger.
They’ve done a decent job, but Moses has been such a revelation under Antonio Conte that he’s a tough player to replace. His return, then, couldn’t come soon enough for Chelsea.
Fortunately, that return could be coming very shortly, with Antonio Conte recently providing an update on the matter ahead of Chelsea’s clash with Liverpool. He has revealed that he hopes to have the Nigerian on the bench to face the Reds on Saturday.
Conte reports that Victor Moses's condition is good, he needs time to find his best form, but he is in the squad for tomorrow and Conte wants to put him on the bench.

Whilst that doesn’t seem to suggest that he is 100% fit, he’s clearly well on the way to that end, which is huge for the Blues.
Unsurprisingly, the Chelsea fans over on Twitter have had quite the reaction to the news, and it’s safe to say that they’re very happy indeed. Calling for Conte to risk him tomorrow in place of Davide Zappacosta, his return can’t come soon enough for the Chelsea faithful.
