Leeds United fans here in the Tavern will expect nothing less than promotion in the next campaign. Indeed, Marcelo Bielsa will need to make an immediate impact at Elland Road, with plenty of improvements required before the start of next season.
The Whites have set their sights firmly on securing promotion next season, with Marcelo Bielsa recently being appointed as Paul Heckingbottom’s successor.
Of course, the Argentinian will be looking to stamp his authority on the transfer front and will have a number of players in mind that he wants to bring in this summer. And, judging from his previous managerial jobs, our local residents believe that they have nothing to worry about, with a couple of big-name players possibly making their way to Elland Road at some point this summer.
With that in mind, Bielsa will win Leeds United the league if he’s given these TWO signings…
Josh Brownhill
The Bristol City man established himself as one of the standout performers in the Championship during the campaign just gone and put in a couple of accomplished performances against Manchester City.
Josh Brownhill would provide an added creative spark down the right-hand side and would also help out in defensive areas. Operating as a right midfielder that loves to float inside and create space for a shot, the Englishman would be sure to bolster Leeds United’s midfield.
So, with Leeds’ midfield letting them down at times last season, bringing Brownhill to the club would help them ensure consistency and could make them an unstoppable force moving forward.
Beram Kayal

Beram Kayal is an experienced midfielder who has previously enjoyed Championship glory with Brighton and Hove Albion.
The former Celtic man is not a regular starter for the Seagulls but would walk into the current Leeds starting midfield. Indeed, with the likes of Kalvin Phillips, Eunan O’Kane and Adam Forshaw all struggling to produce quality at times, Kayal would be able to ensure consistency and knows how to win crunch matches in the Championship.
He would almost certainly add some steel into the centre of the park for Leeds, something which they are badly lacking right now.
