The Leeds United residents in the Transfer Tavern will be jumping for joy with the news that they have finally managed to make inroads into the problems they have been facing.
The Whites announced on their official club website that Marcelo Bielsa will indeed be their next manager following a mountain of speculation for the past few weeks, having signed a two-year deal with the option of a further year.
The former Argentina and Chile manager looks to have already got off on the right foot this summer, having claimed that the opportunity to manage Leeds was “impossible to turn down” and is “excited” to get going.
“I am delighted to accept the role of head coach at Leeds United,” he told the official website.
“It has always been my ambition to work in England and I have had several opportunities to do so during my career, however, I have always felt it was important to wait for the right project to come along and so when a club with Leeds United’s history made me an offer, it was impossible to turn down.
“I am excited for the challenge ahead and look forward to collaborating with Victor, Andrea and Angus, as we work hard to achieve great things at this football club.”

Many of the punters in the bar will be delighted with the move as many will feel it is a major coup for the team and will be excited to see what he brings to the team.
Bielsa has an untold amount of experience managing some of the biggest teams in the biggest tournaments and the locals in the Tavern will be excited to see what he can bring to Elland Road this year.
