Bitter rivals ready to swoop in as Rangers continue Gerrard-inspired reshuffle

Rangers could be set to see one of their players join one of their bitter Scottish Premiership rivals this summer and the fans in the Transfer Tavern will not like it should it happen.

Steven Gerrard has been active since he has been in charge of the Ibrox outfit making a number of changes to personnel, including bringing in a number of additions to help make them competitive once again.

The former Liverpool star is also set to release a number of players he believes to be deadwood and according to reports, Kenny Miller is one to be preparing for the exit. The Scottish Sun are claiming that the out-of-contract striker is on the list of Aberdeen’s transfer targets and is thought to have already held talks with the Dons.

There has been plenty of interest in the 38-year-old, with the likes of newly-promoted Livingston also considering a move for him, and the locals will hope he decides against joining their bitter rivals.

Landlord’s Verdict

The Rangers fans in the Tavern will be disappointed to see Miller make a move to Pittodrie Stadium this summer, however, it would not be a shock if he did decide to head to Aberdeen.

The striker has been on the books of a number of clubs during his career, including Old Firm rivals Celtic, but will be hoping he decides to go to Livingston instead.
